Welcome to my blog!

Becoming a vegetarian in 2007 expanded my cooking expertise as I had to learn how to make the foods I loved, but in a new way. After receiving my bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts Studies, I followed that with another bachelor’s in Hospitality Management. After college, I ran/owned the first award winning vegetarian food truck in Denton, TX which I followed with a frozen food product in local grocery stores. In between all this I have taught cooking classes at a national grocery store chain and a national athletic country club, worked as a kitchen manager at the first fully vegan college dining hall in the United States, am a contributing recipe columnist in a local zine, and much more.
