SKELETON PIZZAS

Veggie pizzas made using a skull mold sheet pan.



This is a fun take on veggie pizza (or really more like a calzone). I'll link the pan I used at the end of the blog. You can add whatever veggies you like into these pizzas and using pre-made pizza dough makes this a great, quick dinner. As always, you can check out the video for this recipe on my TikTok! 💀🖤


SKELETON PIZZAS


Serves 2


INGREDIENTS:


1 tube pizza dough

1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

3/4 c marinara sauce, plus more for dipping

1 c. pizza blend cheese

Few tbsp each diced onions and bell peppers (or whatever veggies you like)


DIRECTIONS:


  1. Preheat oven to 425.

  2. Take the dough out of the tube and lay flat. Divide into 6 pieces. Using a roller on a floured surface, flatten those pieces out more.

  3. Grease the molds in the pan with olive oil. Lay a dough piece over each skull mold.

  4. Spoon 2 tbsp of sauce into each mold, then a small handful of cheese, then whatever pizza veggies you choose.

  5. Carefully pull the dough ends over each side to securely enclose the filling.

  6. Bake about 12 minutes or until dough is cooked through and browned a little.


The pan I used was this Nordicware skull pan but anything similar than is oven safe should work:
